On Tuesday September 23, 2014, the Kindai Fukuyama English Speaking Society (中学校のESS部) showed parents and friends different festivals from around the world. This year's theme was in English (Let's Discover World Festivals!). The students did a great job researching and presenting information about country festivals from Cuba, Korea, Germany, Costa Rica, Thailand, the United Kingdom and Turkey.
The students worked hard to make all the decorations in the room and made 'fish-for-a-flag' game for children and families. Good job to all the ESS members!! Many families, children and even Kindai teachers really enjoyed the work of our ESS club members.
Lastly, we want to say a big thank you to JICA 中国, for allowing us to borrow the costumes from different countries (Thailand, Syria, Kenya, Papua New Guinea and Peru). JICA 中国さま、まことにありがとうございました！

２０１４年９月２３日（火）、近大福山中学校のESS部が世界の様々なお祭りについて、保護者の方や友達に向けて展示を行いました。今年のテーマは英語で『Let’s Discover World Festivals!』（さあ世界のお祭りを見つけに行こう！）でした。生徒たちは、キューバ、韓国、ドイツ、コスタリカ、タイ、イギリス、トルコのお祭りについて、本当によく調べ、よくまとめてくれました。
